As we make the transition from autumn to winter, the NCCB is pleased to once again support the capital campaign for St Basil’s Catholic Church with this benefit concert, organized by the parish.
The building was Ottawa’s first circular planned church designed by George Bemi with Tim Murray and Gerald Trottier (Interior Design) in 1960, and offers a great acoustic experience for the Band as well as its many followers.
Maestro Rocco Romeo has reached into the catalogue of classic works for Concert Band, a sampling of new material, a nod to the centenary of the Armistice for the First World War, as well as a range of works both sacred and popular, in order to set the mood for the Christmas season. The concert is presented as a freewill offering for all attendees, so please join us!
