Under the direction of Mary Blais, the Concert Band of Kanata (CBoK) was founded in September of 2012 to help further the love to concert band music within our community.  We are composed of over 40 amateur musicians who come from a wide range of playing experience.  We perform two public concerts a year in addition to seniors’ residences.

Rehearsals run on Monday nights from September through June, 7:15pm – 9:30pm at Holy Trinity High School in Kanata.   Our mission is to learn, play, and perform music of all styles while having fun!  Afterwards, many venture to a local establishment to continue our socialization and partake in a tasty beverage or trivia quiz nights!

Our annual membership fees help support the purchase of new music, insurance coverage, and concert costs.
