We are a charitable organization which has been dedicated to promoting the love of music for our members, and for our community since 2009. As band members, we are a fun-loving bunch of individuals, from students to seniors, all with varying degrees of musicianship. We get together once a week to practice and learn, and we perform for the local community throughout the year.

This is a volunteer position, there is no remuneration

The candidate should have:

• a degree in music
• experience conducting concert bands • available Thursday evenings, 7 – 9 p.m.,

from September – June
• an ability to select new music for the band and to prepare a musical repertoire

• a willingness to teach as well as conduct • a community orientation
• a sense of humour and fun
